Omarr's Daily Astrological Forecast for August 12, 2009

BIRTHDAY GUY: Actor Casey Affleck , fellow-clansman of Ben Affleck , was born in Falmouth, Massachusetts on this date in 1975. This birthday guy earned a 2007 Oscar nomination for his effectuation as Bob Ford in the film "The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford ." He's also starred in "Gone Infant Gone," "Ocean's Thirteen," and "Lonesome Jim." Affleck will next star opposite Jessica Alba in the thriller "The Murderer Inside Me.".

ARIES (March 21-April 19): Opportunity is like lightning and rarely strikes twice, so you shouldn't hesitate to take advantage of what is right in front of you.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20): Your gifts to sell an idea may be directly related to how easily you can imagine yourself happily glowing with celebrity.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20): The true measurement of brilliance is not how much you know, but how willing you are to search for, find and use present knowledge.

CANCER (June 21-July 22):

Which actor do you hope wins an Oscar someday?

Virile or female -- whoever it is, I'd like to know your opinions! Maybe it's someone whose work you've admired for some time now, peradventure it's someone who you're just surprised hasn't won one yet.

Personally, I'd like to see the following win one someday:

- Paul Bettany
- Casey Affleck
- Brendan Fletcher (although, mournfully, I don't see this happening; his work is pretty small-time)
- Chris Cooper
- Paul Giamatti
- Sir Ian McKellen
- Ryan Gosling
- Ellen Foot-boy
Izzy - Brendan Fletcher is a small town Canadian actor who I grew up watching on telly as a kid (he was on a few episodes of Goosebumps, Caitlin's Way, etc.). A few years ago he started doing indie movies, and he blew me away with his exhibition in '18.'

Lately, he's been guest starring on an episode here and there of some more popular television shows such as a season one episode of 'Spectral,' and episode three of 'The Listener.'

big ditto on Paul Bettany (he's untapped the right stuff. Master and Commander should have given him more work.) and Paul Giamatti.

Chris Cooper won an oscar for Modifying. didn't he? even if he did, I could see him getting another. he's tremendous in everything he does.

I'd also like to see Cillian Murphy get one. Barry Pepper if he got more trade has the potential to be really good. His performances in TV work *61 and the one about Dale Earhnheart (can't remember the name) were very respected.

women--unfortunately, we don't seem to have much but eye candy out there right now. at least, that's all the parts they seem to be given.

Evan Rachel Wood

I don't have knowledge of any of those actors but I would vote for the underdog who is Brendan Fletcher?

Tom Felton *lament*

Ellen Attendant

I favour with you with Sir Ian McKellen. One of my all time favourite actors.

Jim Carrey

Marky Streak is underrated

Jim Carrey

Ryan Gosling and Rachel Mcadams

honestly

the people you hope for are them actor i don't separate and never heard but i would say i want to win:

-zac efron (cutie pie)
-brad pitt(cool)
hgh laurie (funny)

big ditto on Paul Bettany (he's untapped potency. Master and Commander should have given him more work.) and Paul Giamatti.

Chris Cooper won an oscar for Modification. didn't he? even if he did, I could see him getting another. he's tremendous in everything he does.

I'd also like to see Cillian Murphy get one. Barry Pepper if he got more occupation has the potential to be really good. His performances in TV work *61 and the one about Dale Earhnheart (can't remember the name) were very yard goods.

Battle of celebrity siblings--- who would YOU choose?

1. Sean or Chris Penn
2. Donnie or Raise Wahlberg
3. Alec or Stephen Baldwin
4. Ashley or MAry Kate Olsen
5. Aaron or Take Carter
6. Fred or Ben Savage
7. Kevin or Matt Dillion
8. Ben or Casey Affleck

1 - Chris Penn
2 - Stamp Wahlberg
3 - Alec Baldwin
4 - I don't really care about either of them...
5 - Aaron Carter...
6 - I don't really know who either of them are...
7 - Kevin Dillon
8 - Casey Affleck

do you think that casey affleck is so hot?

I say yes

Blu-Ray Highlight: Gone Baby Gone

Starring: Casey Affleck, Michelle Monaghan, Amy Ryan, Morgan Freeman, Ed Harris
Directed By: Ben Affleck
Written By: Ben Affleck & Aaron Stockard

Is doing the reason thing always the best choice? That is the question that Gone Baby Gone asks the viewer. A morally complex thriller, the videotape takes place in Boston, Massachusetts, where a little girl is abducted. Two private investigators (Casey Affleck & Monaghan) are asked by the maiden’s family to find her. The P.I.s are also assisted by a few other Boston cops (Freeman & Harris). Ben Affleck does an amazing job at directing this charming thriller; he proves that he definitely has a future in the director’s chair.

Deleted scenes, a behind-the-scenes featurette, a look at the casting of the smokescreen, and audio commentary by Ben Affleck and co-writer Aaron Stockard comprise the bonus features.
