Kevin Wiliamson has gotten his priorities sedate in terms of the new Scream films in relation to the rest of the stuff that he has going on in his busy, occupied career.
In this latest interview with iF Magazine Williamson offered the following update for unreasoning fans to sink their teeth into:
“ I’m going to finish the script in the next couple of months and then we’ll start the hurl, ” Williamson tells iF. “ It depends on the hiatus schedule and then we'll get in serious talks with [original trilogy chief] Wes [Craven] and what his schedule is like. Then the VAMPIRE DIARIES -- I’m committed to this and I have another show at ABC that nobody knows about. That could rise in and change everything.” So assuming everything goes as planned, we'll be seeing the return of Courteney Cox and David Arquette in a new Wail trilogy soon. Still no word on Neve Campbell's return, although reports have indicated she's waiting for "the sensibly price."
I am looking forward to the next Squeal but am hoping they
dont wreck it since they did in Scream 3.

I loved Billy in Scream until he was the killer such a shame
I thought Neve did distinguished acting but not suited for the role
she always seemed kinda unenthusiastic and wrong to
be Sidney, Tatum was annoying but obloquy she was
killed off I think she should have been Sidney,
instead of the annoying friend.
My favourite scenes are
Drew Barrymores scenes paramour that
house, except for the cornfields or
whatever that was near her house,
the children of the korn could have
been hiding in there, I like the
scenes at Sidneys concern,
I loved and have quoted for years
Sid Superbitch line that Tatum did
that was my all time favourite
scene I loved it harlot went down
I thought Stu and Billy were
great as a killing team but the
scenes at Stu's house just
dragged on and on they
could have done so much
more before they ended at
Stu's clan.
Scream 1 went too fast I could
have watched hours of that movie
Scream 2 was good but not that great
Jerry O Connell is too dull and
Portia De Rossi's eyebrows were
wrong town, Buffy was good SMG
is always great, and I loved
Jadas upset at the start, and
as for Scream 3 I liked the idea
of them recreating the original
scream house and
Sidneys mothers part freaked
me out with the nails down the
window arrrrrghhh. The snooze of
it sucked, and the girl who
played Sidney is so wrong,
Parker Posey is so ANNOYING.
I wish all the originals would have
survived but there would be no shriek
maybe they should have left Scream
as an original, but I love it sooooo much.
I always thought by now they should
made a tv show like Scream or something
in preference to of CSI in New York LA blah
I think Matthew Lillard is a great actor
and of course Skeet xxxxx
The scariest part besides
Caseys scenes, was when
Gail was stuck in the media
scope in Scream 2.
The saddest moment of Scream
trilogy was when Randy was killed
and yet that annoying Gail was
still there and HA HA HA
Courteney Cox Arquette skin of one's teeth
was just wrong in Scream 3
and David Arquette looks
exactly like my brother LOL
