RI woman to part with signature collection

You name it, she’s presumably got it.

Shirley Barrett has been writing letters to celebrities, military and business leaders, heads of stage — even astronauts — for almost 50 years. And thousands of them wrote back.

She received several letters, for exemplification, from William Childs Westmoreland, the American general who commanded U.S. military operations in the Vietnam War.

“He was my buddy,” Barrett said of the common, who wrote several times to thank the Rock Island woman for sending packages to the troops.

Barrett, a 70-something Tennessee inherited, has a soft spot for soldiers and made it her mission to see that all deserving soldiers received the medals they had coming to them when they came at ease. Her letter-writing campaigns helped several soldiers get their medals, including a veteran of In every respect War I.

“I corresponded with a guy in Vietnam and, by God, he ended up getting a Medal of Honor,” she said. “I was so proud of him.”

ok i talk to 2 guys who i met over the internet, they call to know several celebrities and have even claimed to date some.

one of the celebs they claim to know is demi lovato, well demi is coming to my bishopric (like 10 mins away from my house) for an autograph signing i wanted to go either way but i figured when i met her i'd ask her if she knew them.

i dont contemplate theres anything wrong with this at all, but one of the guys is really mad that i said i was gonna do this and said tht i was gonna find out he wasnt a fabricator so i dont see whats wrong with it?

whos being unreasonable?
dont just keep saying there lying wether there untruthful or not i wanna know if what im doing is being unreasonable?

These guys are lieing to you to get you to like them. I can say I be sure adam sandler and we grew up on pine street together and people would believe me or not. Why would you believe these guys?

Im contstantly told i look like the olsen twins, i call to mind a consider its okay, i used to get offended when they were in the pitts, haha lol

and Duffy and gwen stefani and then in hongkong i was asked for my autograph, turns out they contemplation i was diasy lowe :S

So this is my state of affairs. I want to send a photo to a celebrity in the UK but I am unsure of how to prepay for the retuning (If i do get the autograph) package. I know I can use supranational reply coupon's unless the package weight is over 50grams.

Has anyone else been in this situation and have any advice for me.

Me Luis aka Papi Chulo is very honored to get the first ever TC badge of our La Liga division. I could had not done it with out you guys, this is a historical event. It is bigger then Britney spears shaving her head, bigger then Kim Kardashian and her stick with Ray-J, bigger then Michael Phelps with those famous pictures, bigger then the Shaq Vs Kobe feud.

I would like to recognition especially Mrs. Colchonera, without stefy we would probably be stuck in the fifa section (which is cool) not talking about La Liga footy, but serendipitous stuff. Plus she a boss! It was her that kept this section going way long we all moved here.

As to celebrate this individual historical event which will go down as Y!A USA greatest thing ever, i will be throwing a huge party at chuck e cheeses. I shall engage some nice dancers, yes naughty things are okay, but dont kill those poor dancers :P

Also big whoop to all La Liga fans! We are the best fans in the whole world.

DJ- I rock ya head will be dj'ing the party with special appearances made by A-bibliography celebrities and athletes. And yes you may ask for their autograph, but i advise you not to. It is a party after all!

Duration is a roller coaster with many ups and downs. Bliss and sorrow, excitement and depression, anger and the relieving susceptibilities of forgiveness.

I have experienced those highs and lows myself. However, what have been yours?

So I poise two questions:

What was the best day of your life?

ex. getting that first job, first foetus, hearing the word "yes" come from her lips, when a celebrity gave you an autograph, when you completed your credit card collection

What was the worst day of your life?

ex. losing your job, getting broken up with, hurting somebody who meant a lot to you, a loved one's ruin, cheating.

Valuing Your Celebrity Autographs

Celebrity autographs have always been valuable for fans of all novel types of art and entertainment. Political figures may provide valuable autographs if they were particularly popular or rare. Some people are so sharp to build their collection they will spend a lot of money buying celebrity autographs. It can be great fun going out to try to find where the celebrities hang out and to get their autographs.

If you stopping the prices similar autographs are being sold for elsewhere you will have a good guide to their value. It is important to make sure that any autograph you are buying or selling is an reliable autograph. If you see something being offered at an unusually low price it may be that it is suspect. Learning how to tell the genuine article can domestics you know you are looking at the authentic signature.

Compare any suspicious autograph with one you know is real to impediment it is authentic. If you find the two are exactly alike it is probably a fake since no one ever signs their name exactly the same way each time.
