Milan community manager Adriano Galliani has spoken about referees and the way they distribute yellow cards, stating that sometimes players are shown a possible for minor offenses, whereas other times no action is taken against dangerous fouls.
Galliani's comments were sparked by the intrepid treatment meted out to Milan forward Alexandre Pato by the Siena defenders during the Rossoneri's 2-1 win in Tuscany on Saturday.
"I over that the referees need to protect the players in general, not only those who have talent," explained the Rossoneri's evil-doing-president to
Milan Channel. "The referees, in my opinion, must be very rigid if a player hits another performer and more understanding on other things. Otherwise if one is hit regularly, he then has a small reaction and is shown the yellow card.
"However, I don't desire to create any controversies on this argument."

This guy is ineffectual. How can people rate this clown?
Last night he was shown to be out of his depth.
Last week, he looked like he was containing John Carew, but the actuality is that big Carew had the pace and beating of him every time, but he was getting away with it until he could get away with it no longer.
I hope he continues to set someone back Celtic, but he has no place in the national team. Carew is a class player, but he's not one of the very best strikers in the fabulous. Can you imagine if we made the World Cup and drew Spain, Cameroon, Brazil or Argentina?
Can you imagine Caldwell (and McManus too for that business) up against David Villa, Fernando Torres, Samuel Eto'o, Luis Fabiano, Alexandre Pato, or Sergio Aguero?
Nightmare, there would be a very good chance of us drawing either Ivory Coast or Cameroon given that they are non-Europeans who would not be top seeds. Drogba or Eto'o would concoct it was Christmas.
We are in big trouble with Caldwell at the back.

I understand Scottish football is crap, but in fairness there's a lot of dross under the top 6 or 7 in the PL.
