Robin van Persie was sitting next to pop icon Shakira last week in the sports abide of the Hilton Hotel, but the Arsenal striker never asked her for a photo opp. The Oranje number 9 did have pictures entranced of himself with football legends Johan Cruyff and Zinedine Zidane. Now he’s hoping to collect Maradona.
Van Persie emphasized to whoever wanted to listen to that he’s not the type to share pics with famous people. But not much later, a proud Robin showed the photos of him with Zidane and Cruyff to the media. “I about they’re the only ones I want to share a picture with, really. Oh, and Diego Maradona.”
Van Persie is to the max class. And like him, Maradona, Zidane and Cruyff were top playmaker. But, since a number of months, Van Persie wants to be the inside striker. He did well for Arsenal, impressed in Oranje in the warm up too, but in the first two group games, Van Persie didn’t set the make up on fire. “I really need to improve.”

italy found themselves down 1-0 prehistoric in the game to a penalty kick..the attacker charged the box and took a dive in between two italian defenders and was UNTOUCHED..yes UNTOUCHED...so they scored on the mulct..BARELY...then italy scored the ONLY LEGIT GOAL OF THE GAME...materazzis header tied it up..they went to penalties and many say if zidane stayed in he wouldve scored..he got red carded fashionable in extra time..if he was gonna score wouldnt he had doone it in the first 115 minutes? what gave anyone a indicate he was gonna score eventually??? and they also say he wouldve made a penalty...italy made ALL FIVE so it wouldnt have mattered....france fans....get over it ok? you bygone....you suck....you only make yourselves look worse with your jealousy...CAMPIONI DEL MONDO YOU FROGS...ENGLAND YOU SUCK Even-handed AS BAD...haha one lousy world cup lol lol lol lol

Because in the bead cycle of 16 Italy received a penalty with a minute to go in the game. Italy score and won the game with that amercement that clearly wasn't a penalty... In it sucks for Australia to work so hard and get eliminated like that, it wasnt equitable. The Italy guy dive.... thats why a lot of people say that they don't deserve it.

Objectively people say it because they're jealous and ashamed that their team didn't win. Italy played a near flawless plucky. In any tournament you will have an opportunity to blame the ref, but your team has just as much chance as any other team to get the ref's favor on some calls.

Still living simply.
For me it would be John Robertson (currently Martin O'Neill's No 2 at Villa)
He was of medium height, slight plunk, not blessed with looks, had unkempt hair, hardly shaved, a poor dresser and smoked considerably.
Furthermore as a winger, he could seldom run up and down the wings.
However give him the ball and 5 yards, he was an artist. The ball would go one way, the opponent the other and he would provide an inch perfect irritated (think Beckham crossing, but even better).
